FLICON 2021

Event Details:

Saturday, May 15, 2021 - Sunday, May 16, 2021

The fourth annual Stanford FLI Conference is a two-day-long conference that examines the FLI experience in higher education. The mission of the Stanford FLI Conference is to bring together FLI students from across the country to empower them to learn about their identities in the context of higher education, build a network of solidarity, and empower each other to create social change. We are organizing workshops that align with our theme of “Uplifting Voices: Raising Resilience and Solidarity”, and also with the themes of advocacy, belonging, and community. This year our mission is to fortify the bonds we as a community share in the midst of the various ways the pandemic has thrown our daily lives into disarray. As our society faces challenges on various matters such as intersectionality, FLICON 2021 wishes to stand in solidarity with all the different identities the FLI community encompasses and gather strength to support our beloved members.
