Louisa Jacquez

Louisa Jacquez (she/her) works as a Staff Therapist at CAPS and acts as a clinical liaison to the FLI office. She was a first-generation college student at UC Davis. She identifies as a Mexican American woman and is a member of the LGBTQIA+ community. Her professional interests include the impacts of trauma on social/emotional functioning, LGBTQIA+, Eating Disorders, First Generation/Low Income College Students, and Former Foster Youth. Personally, Louisa enjoys being an adventurous cook, spending time basking in the sun with her three cats, and going on adventures in the community. Louisa offers virtual community drop in spaces twice a week on Tuesday and Fridays as part of CAPS Let's Talk series. She is also in the process of designing a group space to talk about the FLI identity, emotional well-being, and mental health.
