Hometown: Detroit, Michigan

As a first generation college graduate who grew up in a low-income household, I have always been committed to equity accessing and navigating higher education, supporting FLI students and students from other traditionally marginalized identities, and the importance of unlocking the hidden curriculum.  I graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a bachelor's degree in Literature and Psychology and obtained a master's degree in Education in Enrollment Management and Policy from the University of Southern California (USC).

Most of my professional career features experience working in undergraduate admissions at a variety of different colleges and universities, including Stanford. I came to the FLI Student Success Center as the first full-time Opportunity Fund Manager back in 2022 providing support financial support and financial literacy education to low/limited-income students. My focus now is on providing holistic support to all FLI students through our four pillars - Access to resources, Mentorship, Advocacy, and Community Building. It has been a career highlight working in the FLI Student Success Center, and I'm looking forward to continuing to make an impact in a community that's so near and dear to my heart.
