Academic Support

  • Join us for FLI Community Virtual Study Nights from Fall to Spring! Additionally, here are some other resources for academic support:
  • CTL Tutoring (Center for Teaching and Learning)
    • CTL provides free subject tutoring and language conversation practice with peers who are specially trained to help you develop the skills you need to be successful in your classes. All appointment tutoring, drop-in tutoring, and language conversation partner (LCP) sessions will be hosted online via Zoom. Make an appointment and access your appointment using our online scheduler. You can also check out our Drop-in Schedule and access the sessions through the links listed.
  • For students enrolled in summer session classes seeking support, check out the Summer Academic Resource Center.

  • The Hume Center for Writing and Speaking

    • The Hume Center for Writing and Speaking (Hume Center) works with all Stanford students to help them develop strong and varied abilities in every aspect of writing and oral communication. In free individual sessions, Hume tutors help students get started on assignments; address and overcome writer's block or performance anxiety; learn strategies for revising, editing, and proofreading; and understand academic conventions in their fields.
