Summer Equity Grant
The Summer Equity Grant (SEG) provides support to students for living expenses not otherwise covered by their summer opportunity. Students interested in receiving funding from the Summer Equity Grant are required to pursue a public service, internship, fellowship, or research opportunity (excluding thesis research) during the summer.
Thank you for your interest in the Summer Equity Grant. At this time, our team is reviewing applications that have been submitted. Due to the demand, allocated funding for the Summer Equity Grant will be reached by the amount of applications already received. For students still looking for funding, Summer Federal Work Study through the financial aid office is available for students who are participating in or interested in pursuing a Stanford opportunity. Please check Handshake for any Stanford opportunities that might be available if you don’t currently have one lined up.

Stanford Summer Opportunities
Here are some campus partners with programs that could be supported with a Summer Equity Grant if they're unable to provide the funding needed to meet your living expenses for the duration of the program.

Funding is on a first come, first served basis, is not guaranteed, and grants will not be distributed until early June for anyone approved prior to that time. They will be distributed on a rolling basis thereafter until allocated funding has been reached.
